Dear God

It's me.... Patience
I'm sorry....
I met a friend of yours today and like a game of chess... The King always reigns
I've been calling and calling and waiting and waiting but not realizing that you had actually responded
Just not in the way I'd expected
"Patience, you know God loves you", "Everything will be alright, God has a plan" they said to me but all I did was smile and walk away
Why?
Because I wanted a direct call and in my ignorance I missed the email
Missed the letter, the text.... And missed you
I've been calling and you answered ❤️
