Introduction

Going natural was one of the best decisions I ever made but to be honest I did it cause my best friend did it and I was just like...why not lol and it was during the phase when going natural was becoming a thing. But i'm really glad I did :)

I cut my hair back in 2017 around April/May-ish. I must say my confidence certainly did take a knock or two because I big chopped. I was so used to seeing myself with long hair (almost shoulder length) and now I had a very teeny weeny afro lol but I embraced it.

The journey hasn't been easy and there were times I literally thought my hair wasn't growing  (still do now, at times ) but one thing I've learnt is HAIR GROWS. Could be fast or slow but it is still definitely growing.
