X-Rays
This is one topic I've wanted to write about since I started this blog and finally I am. I'm currently studying Radiography and that means taking peoples' x-rays. I've met different kinds and characters of people from young to old. Some patients co-operate and they are just the best as they make your job easier but some on the other hand can be very difficult till you get to a point where you just don't know what to do anymore but one thing that I've noticed is that there's a certain level of vulnerability that comes with being a patient. Imagine trusting someone you don't even know.....but you trust them because you know they are there to help you and they know what to do because they have your best interest at heart. I feel this should be the same vulnerability we should have when going to our Father. Trust in him and believe that he knows what to do and how to help us best. At times we ask the patients to do gymnastics lol just to get them into a certain position and be able to get the best view possible and a 100% they never like it and some even cry and complain and everything in-between but it's necessary for them to get help. We might not like the method but it is exactly what we need. Trust in him. I remember I once had this patient and I asked them to undress and take off any jewellery etc. I instructed them on what to do and I took the chest x-ray only to find they had kept their necklace on. The patient didn't think we'd see but we could see right through, straight to the bone like how he can see right through us anyway.
Proverbs 3 vs 5-8 (Amplified version)
Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart
And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
6
In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
7
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil.
8
It will be health to your body [your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts]
And refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones.
And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

P.S So why not just give him the reins and trust him xx
