Disconnected
Disconnected, that's exactly what I've been lately. At first it was no accesss to Wifi and with crazy bundle rates i just had to disconnect lol and then eventually I just really wasn't feeling social media anymore I guess . The first week was especially hard but then i started adjusting till i got used to it and it became normal. I really felt like i was missing out on something in the beginning ; the FOMO got real especially around New years but then i realized something - I got to spend time with just me and focus on my life...I didn't have Instagram to keep up with other people's lives and i had to keep up with my own, didn't have Pinterest ( and i absolutely love it) to look at different outfit ideas and i had to look at my closet and actually see what i have and put my own outfits together with what I actually had, couldn't look up memes to make me laugh and i had to find joy from within. At times we need to disconnect and focus on ourselves. Stop and take a look at your own life. Is it in order? Are you happy with yourself and by yourself? Is your joy coming from within or dependant on other people? And are you looking at your closet and knowing what you have, not what you wish you had? And are you writing a story you'll be proud to tell? This new year offers a blank book, you are the pen and your life is the story xx

Haggai 1:5-7

"You have sown much, but harvest little; you eat, but there is not enough to be satisfied; you drink, but there is not enough to become drunk; you put on clothing, but no one is warm enough; and he who earns, earns wages to put into a purse with holes." Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider your ways!
